Pakistan are the hosts of the ongoing ACC Asia Cup 2023 but the tournament is played in the hybrid model with matches shared between Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
There have been controversies regarding the participation and the host in this Asia Cup, but in the end, it was agreed that India will be playing its games in Sri Lanka.
The Pakistan Cricket Board organized a Gala Dinner for the ACC members and extended an invitation to the BCCI as well. BCCI accepted the invite and BCCI President, Roger Binny and Vice President Rajiv Shukla have travelled to Pakistan to attend the event.
Here are a few images from the event that the Pakistan Cricket Board hosted at the Governer's house:
This is the first time after so long Indians from the cricket world have travelled to Pakistan. Maybe in a few years, cricket fans might see India vs Pakistan bilateral series in both the countries.
Along with the board delegations, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, and Pakistan teams along with the support staff also seen attending the Gala dinner. The Asia Cup will head towards the Super 4s and the first game of Super 4s will be played in Lahore. The rest of the games including the final will be taking place in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
