The Pakistan cricket team is scheduled to face Ireland and England in a series of seven games between May 10 and May 30, and the matches serve as their final set of fixtures prior to next month’s T20 World Cup 2024 in West Indies.

Babar Azam, who was recently reinstated as national captain in place of Shaheen Afridi, is set to continue as ‘Men in Green’ leader.

PCB’s men’s national selection committee announced Pakistan’s 18-player group for their upcoming series against England and Ireland during a press conference in Lahore on May 2.

Haris Rauf, who sustained a shoulder injury during the PSL 2024 season earlier this year, is set to make a return to Pakistan’s national setup. Fellow speedster Hasan Ali has also been called back into the side after missing the home fixtures against New Zealand.

Furthermore, wicketkeeper-batters Azam Khan and Mohammad Rizwan have attained full recovery from the injuries they sustained during the recently-concluded home series.

Babar Azam is set to continue as Pakistan captain in their road towards the forthcoming T20 World Cup 2024 in the West Indies and the United States. Here is a look at Pakistan’s entire squad for the series against Ireland and England:
