Babar Azam’s poor form extended as Pakistan face New Zealand  in the ongoing Tri-Nation series final, as the former captain once again failed to convert his start into a big score. Opening the innings, Babar managed just 29 runs off 34 balls before being dismissed by Nathan Smith in the 12th over, leaving Pakistan in a precarious position at the National Stadium, Karachi.

Fans React As Babar Falls Yet Again

Babar Azam has struggled since being moved to the opening slot, with his form seeing a significant dip. His latest failure sparked a wave of frustration on Twitter, with fans slamming the PCB and team management for altering his batting position. Many blamed the board for his struggles, arguing that the decision to promote him as an opener has backfired.

Social media erupted with harsh criticism after Babar’s dismissal, with many calling for a rethink of his batting role. Some fans even questioned his place in the ODI squad, while others demanded changes in Pakistan’s team strategy.

Babar Azam’s continued struggles remain a major talking point, with fans and followers debating whether a change in approach is needed to bring back his lost form.

At the time of writing his article, Pakistan are at 97 runs at the loss of three wickets. Mohammad Rizwan and Agha Salman are batting at the moment and trying to add momentum after early setbacks.
