In a significant development, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), on Friday, announced a star-studded Indian squad for the upcoming u19 Asia Cup. Chennai Super Kings' opener Ayush Mhatre has been named the Indian captain, while the likes of Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Vihaan Malhotra have also been included in the side.

Young batting sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who recently starred with the bat for India in the Asia Cup Rising Stars, will play his second u19 Asia Cup edition. The southpaw has showcased prolific batting form, amassing truckloads of runs at the junior level as well as for the India-A side in recent times.
However, the BCCI hasn't assigned any leadership role to the Rajasthan Royals mainstay. In fact, Vihaan Malhotra, who has been remarkably consistent with the bat, has been named Ayush Mhatre's deputy.
