India will lock horns with arch-rivals Pakistan in the second match of the Asia Cup 2022 in Dubai tomorrow. 

As if this game wasn't special enough, the fact that it will be Virat Kohli's hundredth T20I has made this contest even more exciting. Interestingly, Kohli will become the first Indian cricketer to feature in hundred games in all three formats. Furthermore, he will be just the second cricketer to achieve this remarkable feat after Ross Taylor.

Since making his debut in 2008, the stylish batter from Delhi has gradually established himself as one of the greats the game has ever seen. Statistically, Kohli has amassed a mammoth 23726 runs across formats, proving himself the ideal successor of Sachin Tendulkar in the modern era. 

Notably, Kohli hasn't been at his best for quite some time now. He has not been consistent across formats since 2020; he hasn't scored a single century in the last two years. The legendary Indian batter, who recently took a break to spend some time off the field, will be making his comeback in this high-voltage affair. Therefore, this Asia Cup will be crucial for the talismanic batter as it will help him fine-tune his preparations for the upcoming World Cup in October.
