England Test captain Ben Stokes has been filling his boots with the bat in the ongoing Ashes series.

While England are 1-2 down after 3 games, Stokes had led from the front with the bat. He nearly pulled off a magical win at Lord's where he smashed a breathtaking 155 in the 4th innings.

He was once again at it in Leeds as his crucial 80 in the first innings helped England bridge the gap between the teams, which ultimately proved to be pivotal in the end as the home side chased down 251 in the 4th innings with 3 wickets in their bank.

Stokes is not only piling up runs, he also seems to be beefing up his bank account and assets, if the latest report published in the Daily Mail UK is to be believed.

According to the report, the English Test skipper has secured lucrative deals with Adidas, Red Bull, and cricket bat maker Gunn and Morre in addition to raking in cash via media gigs and in-house dinners.

The current valuation of his firm BAS Promotions is £2.1m as opposed to £360K in 2021.

And, as is widely expected, Stokes' assets are set to be beefed up if he leads his team to their first Ashes win since 2015.

England are currently 1-2 down, and they must win both the Tests in Manchester and the Oval to regain the urn.

Australia, on the other hand, need to draw or win just 1 Test to regain the Ashes. That said, the visitors will be desperate to win the series, something they have been unable to do since the summer of 2001 despite coming agonizingly close in 2019.

The 4th Ashes will kickstart at the iconic Emirates Old Trafford stadium in Manchester from July 19.
