Godavari Titans (GOD) and Bezawada Tigers (BZW) will be up against each other in the 10th match of the Andhra Premier League (APL) 2022, scheduled on July 10 at Dr. Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium, Visakhapatnam.


Godavari Titans have won and lost a game each in their campaign so far. One of their fixtures was abandoned due to rain. On the other hand, Bezawada Tigers opened the competition with a win, while rain played a spoilsport in their previous match.


In the face-off against Vizag Warriors, the Titans were totally outplayed. Leaving aside SK Ismail, who took a four-for, no other bowler had an exceptional day. As a result, they conceded 185 runs on a difficult batting track.


Still, their openers gave them a chance in the second innings, stitching an 88-run partnership for the first wicket. However, the middle-order failed to carry on as it resulted in a 44-run defeat.


Prior to the washout, Bezawada Tigers earned a convincing win versus Vizag Warriors. The Ricky Bhui-led outfit were brilliant with the ball as KP Sai Rahul led the pack with his three-for. 


With just 119 runs to chase, the Tigers romped home in the 14th over. K Maheep Kumar, who scored 25-ball 42, emerged as the top-scorer for his side.
