Renowned IPL franchises Kolkata Knight Riders and Chennai Super Kings had organised trials for budding cricketers to showcase their skills and present a strong case for their inclusion in the lucrative league.

Notably, Andhra Pradesh's famed domestic players, Shaik Rasheed, Karan Shinde and Ricky Bhui, have grabbed the franchises' attention with their nonchalant and gorgeous stroke play.

While Rasheed impressed CSK with a majestic 44-ball 63, Bhui blasted his way through to a superb knock of 51 during his 27-ball stay in KKR trials.

Similarly, swashbuckling southpaw Karan Shinde emerged as the major attraction, hammering 51 off 25 and 67 off 40 in his two brilliant outings in CSK colours. Karnataka's young keeper-batter LR Chethan was also seen dispatching a few balls into the stands for his unbeaten 35-ball 65 in the KKR trials.

Hailed as Andhra's two best batters, Rasheed and Bhui have represented India in under-19 World Cups. While Rasheed was instrumental in India's victorious campaign this year, Bhui played in the u19 World Cup in 2014 and 2016.

Bhui, 26, has also played two matches for the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL. He last played an IPL game against the Delhi Capitals back in 2019.
