Tough competitions to watch out for in Dhaka
While the candidates from Khulna, Chattogram, Sylhet and Barishal were elected as the Bangladesh cricket directors unopposed, fierce contests are expected between the nominees from Dhaka, Rangpur and Rajshahi divisions.
Dhaka, in particular, is all set to see the most interesting electoral face-off, with the BCB president Aminul Islam Bulbul and chairman of cricket operations Nazmul Abedeen Fahim taking on each other from that region. Although they currently serve as the directors of the National Sports Council, they need to win the BCB elections to continue in their respective positions.
