'184 Sounds Good On A Day When...': Did RR Troll Virat Kohli After His 'Slow' Century?

Rajasthan Royals continue their dream run after winning their fourth straight IPL game this season. RR is currently on the route to outdo their best in the 2008 first edition of IPL when they emerged as champions.

Rajasthan Royals beat RCB for 6 wickets yesterday. A lot of memes have circulated trolling Kohli and RCB.

After restricting RCB to 183 after bowling first, the RR admin posted in social media confidently that chasing down 184 was feasible, even though a target of 200+ seemed possible at some stage.

Was this a dig at Kohli for scoring a slow century, or was it trolling RCB for settling on a smaller target than expected after showing potential for a higher score?

Many fans believe that this tweet was aimed at highlighting RCB and Kohli's ineffective batting on a flat track where scoring over 200 runs should have been achievable. Given that RR won with 5 balls remaining, had RCB scored more quickly, the game would have been much tighter.

Virat Kohli's century at Jaipur, achieved in 67 balls, has drawn criticism for its relatively slow pace, especially when contrasted with Jos Buttler's brisk century in just 58 balls for RR, ultimately leading them to victory. Both RCB and Kohli batted on the same pitch, yet they managed to score less than what was anticipated.

However, some fans have directed criticism towards other batters such as Faf du Plessis and Maxwell, who failed to perform up to expectations. They argue that if either of them had played well, RCB's score could have exceeded 200 runs.
