India will face the Netherlands in the last league match of the 2023 World Cup at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. It's a dead-rubber and the game is scheduled to begin at 2:00 PM IST.

The Men in Blue knocked off their opponents left and right in the majority of their triumphs.  They have secured eight out of eight wins and have 16 points in their bag. The Indian side could rest a few of their senior pros such as Jasprit Bumrah and Virat Kohli. In that case, Ravichandran Ashwin and Shardul Thakur could make the cut for the XI.

The Netherlands have played eight matches so far and won just two games. However, from their perspective, they  wished to get at least a couple of wins in the tournament.  A team that was playing in the ODI World Cup for the first time in twelve years astonished the cricket world by defeating South Africa for the second time in 365 days. They followed that up with a victory over Bangladesh at Eden Gardens in Kolkata.

The Netherlands have a chance to qualify for the 2025 Champions Trophy, provided they finish within the top seven in the points table.  The Ryan Cok-coached set-up would want Pakistan and Australia to get a win over England and Bangladesh respectively.

Let us have a look at the Dutch predicted XI against India in Bengaluru.

Openers: Wesley Barresi and Max O'Dowd

Netherlands tinkered with their opening pair in recent times and dropped Vikramjit Singh. Wesley Barresi has been opening the batting in their last few matches with Max O'Dowd. The latter has been below par with the bat in the tournament. He is a potent batter but the management is still hoping to witness his excellence.

Middle Order: Colin Ackermann, Sybrand Engelbrecht, Scott Edwards and Teja Nidamanuru

Colin Ackermann has had a brilliant domestic outing with the bat in the County season. However, he failed to convert his starts into big scores. This not just restricts to Ackermann but the overall middle order. Sybrand Engelbrecht and Scott Edwards have been their best batter in the World Cup but could have converted a few more twenties and thirties to big numbers.

Teja Nidamanuru was brought back in the last game against England and he scored 41 runs. This is some positive and the batter would be looking forward to score against a nation that his parents are connected with.

All-rounders: Bas de Leede, Logan van Beek, and Roelof van der Merwe

Bas de Leede and Logan van Beek have been the key all-rounders for Netherlands along with Roelof van der Merwe. The pace bowling all-rounders have released the load of the pure bowlers and have picked wickets regularly. De Leede has snapped 14 wickets from eight matches and is the leading wicket-taker for the Dutch in the coveted Championship.

Van der Merwe is a special player for the Men in Orange and adds batting depth too. His experience of the game comes more than handy to the European team.

Bowlers: Aryan Dutt and Paul van Meekeren

Aryan Dutt is the primary spinner of Netherlands. He has been prolific in the first and second powerplay phases. Dutt has the knack of keeping things tight and does not leak runs easily.

Paul van Meekeren is one of the oldest blokes in this set-up. He has picked up 11 wickets from eight matches that includes a four-for against Bangladesh in a winning cause.
