Netherlands (NED) collide with five-time champions Australia (AUS) in the 24th match of the ongoing sixteenth edition of the World Cup. The encounter is slated to take place on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi at 2:00 PM IST. The Dutch have already beaten one of the most dangerous and in-form sides in the tournament, South Africa and they will look to put up a similar performance against another strong unit in the form of Australia.

Scott Edwards and his men began the campaign with two defeats against Pakistan and New Zealand, both coming in the city of Hyderabad. The Dutch then sprung a major surprise as they caused an upset by beating the Proteas by 38 runs in Dharamsala.

However, they were brought down to earth by Sri Lanka in their fourth outing as they lost against them by a margin of five wickets in Lucknow. It will be an extremely difficult task for the Dutch to repeat their Dharamsala heroics against the most successful side in the history of the World Cups, the Aussies. Let us have a look at the Netherlands's Predicted XI for this fixture.

Openers: Max O'Dowd and Vikramjit Singh

The right-hand left-hand combination of Max O'Dowd and Vikramjit Singh will open the batting for the Netherlands. The latter scored a half-century (52) against Pakistan in Dutch's opening fixture in this WC. O'Dowd has got small starts in his last three games with scores of 16, 18 and 16. He will like to convert those into a substantial score in this tie.
