The T20 World Cup 2024 is all ready to witness the biggest battle of all, the 'superbowl on steroids', when India takes on Pakistan on June 9 at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium, New York.

The Men In Blue had a raging start to their campaign as they successfully defeated Ireland by 8 wickets.

This win can largely be credited to the pacers who breathed fire sharing 9 wickets between them, everyone except Jadeja scalped at least a single wickets, resulting in Ireland bundling out for 96 runs in 16 overs.

During the chase, India did lose Virat Kohli early; however, Rohit Sharma and Rishabh Pant stitched up a tight partnership that helped India cross the finish line in just 12.2 overs.

However, one thing that highlighted after Kohli's cheap departure was that is it a possibility that they would want to bring Yashasvi Jaiswal in to have a lefty-righty combination at the start.

But in all likeliness the chances of that happening will be close to zero as the line-up looks pretty solid.

Somelike Kohli who comes with immense experience and understanding would definitely hold onto his opening spot. Hence, expect that India will be going forward with the same playing XI as Ireland.
