Shubman Gill, the Gujarat Titans captain is a man who never shies away from expressing his emotions but at the same time, he is someone who stays calm and composed, even in difficult situations. However, what he saw on the field Vs Mumbai Indians made him frustrated as GT dropped 3 catches inside the powerplay.

Gill shows his frustrated side

Sai Sudharsan, who took a stunner to dismiss Ryan Rickelton dropped Will Jacks early in his innings. It was followed by R Sai Kishore's blunder which gave a lifeline to Suryakumar Yadav. It was then followed by an easy catch dropped by Mohammed Siraj and this is when Gill reached his breaking point.

Will Jacks flicked a back of a length delivery towards Siraj at mid-wicket and the GT fielder dropped a dolly and this infuriated Gill who closed his eyes in frustration.

Three catches dropped inside the first 6 overs made the GT captain helpless as MI batters, Will Jacks and Suryakumar took advantage of the situation. Had the catches were taken, both SKY and Jacks would have been in the pavilion and the Titans would have been in the driving seat.

MI, GT fighting for top spot

MI and GT both have 14 points in the league and are eyeing the top-2 spot. Royal Challengers Bengaluru sit at the top of the table, but whosoever wins the game will surpass RCB to become the new number 1 in the table.

MI, will look to once again win the game in a dominating fashion as they are the IPL team this season with the best net run-rate.
