On December 18, West Indies will lock horns against Bangladesh in the 2nd of the three-match T20I series. The visitors are leading the series as they pulled off a seven-run win in the series opener. It is a do-or-die game for the Windies as Bangladesh would then clinch the series.

In the first match, The Tigers, batting first, put just 147 runs on the board, courtesy of Soumya Sarkar's 43-run knock. In reply, the Windies tumbled for 140 in 19.5 overs. Skipper Rovman Powell was the star with the bat as he scored a brilliant 60 (35) on a sluggish pitch and yet managed to score five fours and four sixes.

Ahead of the 2nd T20I, it is important to shed light on how the Arnos Vale Kingstown pitch will behave as it also hosted the first match.

Arnos Vale Ground, Kingstown Pitch Report: Is It Batting or Bowling Friendly?

The Arnos Vale surface favours the bowlers and it is not a batting paradise. The Batters would have to struggle and play proper shots to score runs. The ball would come slow onto the bat and spinners will also come into play after the powerplay. The average first innings score at this venue is 135 and it speaks volume about the type of pitch it is.

Further, the team batting first has the biggest advantage as they have won seven of the eight games. Meanwhile, Bangladesh also registered a win batting first in the first T20I.
