Who will be dropped if KL cones back [Source: @iplt20.com]
The Delhi Capitals had a miraculous win against the Lucknow Super Giants on Monday as the team snatched the win from jaws of defeat. At one stage, they looked down and out, but Ashutosh Sharma played the innings of his life and stole the win from LSG as the Capitals registered their first win.
The Delhi side achieved the target without their talisman, KL Rahul, who didn't feature Vs LSG due to the birth of his baby girl. The DC star joined the team a few days back, but had to fly back to his wife, Athiya Shetty as the couple welcomed their newborn child.
However, the Capitals will play their next match against Sunrisers Hyderabad on Sunday and KL Rahul could feature in that game. If he makes a comeback, here are 2 players whom KL can replace in the playing XI.
1) Abishek Porel
Last season, the left-handed batter had a decent IPL season, but there were huge expectations from him heading into the ongoing season. However, on a good batting track against an average LSG bowling attack, Porel looked clueless and was dismissed for a 2-ball duck by Shardul Thakur.
With the early wicket of Jake Fraser-McGurk, Porel had the responsibility to lead the batting attack, but he failed to deliver the goods. Most probably in the next match, JFM and Faf du Plessis will continue to open and KL Rahul could bat at number 3, which means that Porel might have to sit out.
2) Sameer Rizvi
A lot was expected of Sameer Rizvi when Chennai Super Kings bought his services last season, but the batter had an underwhelming season and was released by the Super Kings before DC pounced on him. But he again produced a flop show and got dismissed for 4 off 4.

(Rizvi stats in IPL)
As the numbers suggests, he has been average in the league so far and has just accumulated 55 runs, with a strike-rate of 117. Despite Abishek Porel's average outings, DC have shown faith in him and as a result, Rizvi could be the one who gets dropped when KL Rahul makes his return.
If that happens, KL can bat at number 3, and Porel could be switched to number 4, which could be a win-win situation for DC.
