The T20 World Cup 2022 has come to its end with England lifting the trophy for the second time in the history. In the finals they faced off against Pakistan and won a close contest to wear the crown for a second time.
As the one month saga is now over, we have 16 teams competing to their level best in order to win the title. But ultimately the team that played their best cricket in the tournament rightfully laid their claims to the trophy.

Glenn Phillips was the most consistent and the best Kiwi batter if the whole tournament is considered. He deserves to be the rightful number 5 in this team.

Shadab Khan played an impactful knock of 52 runs against South Africa, a match on which the fate of his team depended. Besides, that he has been very effective and consistent with the ball throughout the tournament.
