The ICC T20 World Cup 2022 is on the way and is giving the fans some exciting clashes from the very beginning. Pakistan will be playing their first match against India on the 23rd of October at the MCG. 

The squad looks well balanced, but the presence of Mohammad Nawaz in the squad will be an added advantage for the team. He has the ability to bowl some important overs and also keep a valuable contribution with the bat if the team requires it. 

So, how important will Nawaz be to the Pakistani team combination?

Nawaz's role as a bowler

Mohammad Nawaz will be entrusted with the job of bowling in the middle overs along with Shadab Khan. He has done the job of containing the batters in the most important phase of a T20 match to a great extent.

Mohammad Nawaz is more than capable with the bat. The biggest positivity with his batting is that he can float around that batting order.

With his power game being present, he can also come down the order and be the finisher for his team when required.
