The final match of the league stage of IPL 2024 will be between Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati. It is an important game for Rajasthan Royals who will be coming into this game on the back of four consecutive losses and would like to win the game and seal a top-2 finish.

KKR, on the other hand, are sitty pretty at the top of the table and would like to go into that all-important Qualifier 1 with another win under their belt. Both teams have plenty of match-winners in their ranks, and let's see the main player battles that are likely to make a big impact in this game.

Sunil Narine vs Trent Boult

Sunil Narine has been in rollicking form this season and it has been his antics in the Powerplay, that has played a big role in KKR's success this year. Now, when it comes to the Powerplay, there is hardly any better bowler than Trent Boult and the Kiwi has also enjoyed good amount of success against Narine so far in the IPL.

Boult has got the better of Narine three times in IPL so far, and has given away just 19 runs in 15 balls. He has bowled nine dot balls as well against Sunil Narine and it would be interesting to see how the battle between the two pans out at Guwahati.

Andre Russell Vs Avesh Khan

Andre Russell has played some match-winning knocks this season and his battle with Avesh Khan at the death could play a big role in determining the result of the game. The right-arm pacer has bowled 25 balls to Russell and has given away 35 runs. However, he has sent back the big Caribbean three times in his IPL career so far which makes the contest between the two an interesting one.

Sanju Samson vs Varun Chakravarthy

Sanju Samson is going through his best season in IPL but in the last couple of games, he has struggled on slow decks. If the pitch for this game continues to remain same, Sanju might have to deal with Varun Chakravarthy cautiously who has bowled well this season.

The RR captain though has so far enjoyed batting against Varun with 39 runs in 23 balls and has not given away his wicket even once to the mystery tweaker.
