League leaders Multan Sultans will look to consolidate their top spot in the 14th Match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2024 on Tuesday. The Multan-based side will look to clinch their second win in a row, four points clear of Quetta Gladiators, to go one step closer to the playoff stage.

The visitors will look to rely on the winning combination in the match against Lahore Qalandars. Incidentally, the hosts have not won a single match in the PSL 2024 and are sitting with a wooden spoon at the bottom of the table. However, Multan Sultans will be wary of their opponents, as they will look to throw their kitchen sink into the match in search of a win.

The visiting side will heavily rely on South African powerhouse Reeza Hendricks and Pakistan opener Mohammad Rizwan in the match.

Hendricks has been the star performer for the Multan Sultans in the PSL 2024, as he has amassed 246 runs in five matches with a stunning average of 61.5. His compatriot Rizwan, who has one duck this season, has been among the major contributors with the bat for the side, scoring 187 runs at an average of 37.4.

In the bowling department, Mohammad Ali, David Willey, and Usama Mir will be the key players for Multan Sultans. The trio have delivered match-winning spells in unison and will look to inflict the sixth consecutive loss on Lahore Qalandars.

Ali is currently the leading wicket-taker in the PSL 2024 with 13 scalps to his name, while Willey follows suit in the second spot with eight, and Mir is in the third spot with seven wickets.
