Match 23 of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023, will witness the encore of the IPL 2022 final as Gujarat Titans take on Rajasthan Royals at Ahmedabad tomorrow. Both the Titans and Royals are high on confidence, having beaten Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in close encounters, respectively.

The Hardik Pandya-led side suffered a rare blip in form against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) courtesy of a 'Rinku Singh' miracle, halting their unbeaten four-match winning streak in the IPL.

A win here could propel the Titans to the top of the points table, rightfully as defending champions.

Let's have a look at the predicted XI for GT.

Openers: Shubman Gill and Wriddhiman Saha

Shubman Gill and Wriddhiman Saha have had a terrific start as a pair in IPL 2023, having added 140 runs across four matches. While Saha failed to get a move on after getting started in the last match, Gill was criticised for not finishing the match despite staying till the very end.

Both players need to capitalise on their good form and shun their respective critics down.

Middle Order: Sai Sudharsan, Hardik Pandya, David Miller and Rahul Tewatia

An enviable middle-order, the Titans have both explosive and level-headed batters at their disposal. Sai Sudharsan, coming in as Kane Williamson's replacement in the XI, has fitted himself to perfection so far.

The only worrying factor for GT is skipper Pandya's form. So far, the all-rounder has managed just 21 runs, however, he is the only captain this season to have not lost a game.

David Miller and Rahul Tewatia finished off PBKS with ease on Thursday and will be eager to continue their rich form.

Bowlers: Rashid Khan, Alzarri Joseph, Mohammed Shami, Mohit Sharma, and Joshua Little

An all-round bowling attack has been Gujarat's strength this season. Mohammed Shami and Rashid Khan have made life difficult for batters to get any breather.

However, their most potent bowler has been Alzarri Joseph, who has hogged the entire limelight away silently. The West Indies pacer has taken seven wickets in four games, at a better average than Shami.

Mohit Sharma's inclusion adds more substance to the attack, with Pandya being selective about his bowling.

Predicted Playing XI of Gujarat Titans:

Wriddhiman Saha (wk), Shubman Gill, Sai Sudharsan, Hardik Pandya (c), David Miller, Rahul Tewatia, Rashid Khan, Alzarri Joseph, Mohammed Shami, Mohit Sharma, and Joshua Little

Impact Players:
