At the toss of the fixture between Lucknow Super Giants and Sunrisers Hyderabad, both captains have made quite a few changes to the playing for the much-awaited IPL clash. From the Lucknow camp, pacers Mark Wood and Avesh Khan will miss out to make space for the Windies all-rounder Romario Shepherd and the veteran leg-spinner Amit Mishra.

Why Mark Wood not playing?

Lucknow's captain stated that the English pacer is down with flu, while the Indian seamer is apparently 'injured'.

Interestingly, after sitting Avesh out, LSG have named the pacer to their Impact Player substitutes list.

Hyderabad, on the flip side, have dropped Abhishek Sharma, Fazalhaq Farooqi and Glenn Phillips. Aiden Markram, Anmolpreet Singh and Abdul Samad have come into the Playing party.

SRH will just be playing with three foreign players, unless they try bringing in an overseas player from the Impact Player substitutes.

IMPACT PLAYER SUBSTITUTES:-

Sunrisers Hyderabad: Heinrich Klaasen, Mayank Dagar, Fazalhaq Farooqi, Marco Jansen, Mayank Markande

Lucknow Super Giants: Ayush Badoni, Swapnil Singh, Daniel Sams, Prerak Mankad, Avesh Khan

The Sunrisers have won the toss at the Ekana Stadium and they will be bat first against LSG.
