New Zealand will face England in the third and final Test of the ongoing three-match Test series on December 14, 2024. New Zealand cricket has faced a dramatic few months, as they defeated India 3-0 at their home soil India. However, this high quickly turned to concern as they approached the brink of a home series defeat to England. 

Historically strong at home, New Zealand has only experienced such a whitewash twice. With losses in the first two Tests of the series, they have been knocked out of contention for the World Test Championship (WTC) final.
