India and New Zealand will lock horns on Wednesday (November 15) in the first semi-final of the World Cup 2023 at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. The Men in Blue, who are on a nine-match winning streak, including a four-wicket victory against the Black Caps, will be strong favourites on paper ahead of this mouth-watering fixture.

India have been in magnificent form at home this World Cup, with Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami, and Ravindra Jadeja all contributing heroic performances. Conversely, New Zealand had a spectacular start to the campaign but lost the ploy with four straight losses in the middle.

However, thanks to the mistakes made by Pakistan and others, Kane Williamson & Co. were still able to make it to the knockout stages.
