The 13th match of the ICC World Cup 2023 will see England locking horns with Afghanistan on Sunday, October 15 at Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi. 

England kicked off their World Cup campaign with a thumping nine-wicket defeat to New Zealand, but they quickly turned things around by thrashing Bangladesh with a 137-run victory in the next match. Now, they are eager to keep the winning streak alive.

On the other hand, Afghanistan’s World Cup campaign got off to a shaky start. Their first match against Bangladesh resulted in an embarrassing six-wicket loss, and their following encounter with India was no kinder, with an eight-wicket defeat. This has left them at the bottom of the points table.
