Mumbai Indians Women will square off against Royal Challengers Bangalore Women in the 9th match of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2024 on Saturday, March 2 at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru.

The Mumbai Indians Women enter this match fresh off a disappointing loss by seven wickets to the UP Warriorz, showing vulnerabilities in both their batting and bowling departments, particularly missing the leadership of their regular captain, Harmanpreet Kaur.

On the bright side, Harmanpreet Kaur is making a comeback for this match, which will definitely beef up their batting. Plus, having a reliable captain back in action will boost the team's morale.

As for the opening partnership, the West Indies' hard-hitter, Hayley Matthews, will stay in her role alongside Yastika Bhatia, who has shown promising form for the Mumbai Indians.

Their middle order is packed with experience. Captain Harmanpreet Kaur leads the charge, flanked by all-rounders Natalia Sciver and Amelia Kerr. They are in beast mode lately, forming a seriously dynamic middle order for Mumbai Indians

Pooja Vastrakar and Issy Wong will be the pace duo as Shanim Ismail is suffering from niggle, while Saika Ishaque, Amelia Kerr, and Sathyamoorthy Keerthana will handle the spin department.
