Docklands Stadium Pitch Report: Is It Batting Or Bowling Friendly?

The pitch at the Docklands Stadium in this season of the BBL has been tricky for the batter. The pacers have got good bounce and movement with the new ball and that has not allowed the batters to get off the blocks quickly. Further as the ball has gotten a bit older, the track has been a bit two paced, not allowing the batters play their strokes with freedom. We can expect the wicket to behave the same way in this game and thus close contest between the bat and the ball.

Players To Watch Out For At Docklands Stadium

Tom Rogers

The Australian pacer has been the top bowler for his team in this tournament. Tom Rogers has picked up 16 wickets in 9 outings  and has had the wicket taking form with him. Given that he will get a help from the surface in this game, Rogers could leave a major impact.

Spencer Johnson

The young left-arm pacer has been in a good rhythm in the tournament. Spencer Johnson has good pace and could trouble the batter with the extra yards on this track. A bit of movement from the track and along with the carry that he will great, Johnson could turn out be a match winner for the Heat.

Max Bryant

The middle order batter has been in a good form in the tournament. Max Bryant has scored consistent runs and has done it at a fair clip. He has the form and rhythm with him and could be an impactful batter for the team in this game.
