The Antigua and Barbuda Falcons (ABF) will play against the Guyana Amazon Warriors (GUY) in the second game of the Caribbean Premier League 2024. This match will be played at the Sir Vivian Richards Cricket Stadium in North Sound, Antigua on August 31 at 4:30 AM IST.

The Antigua and Barbuda Falcons have already played their first game of the tournament against the St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots. They did give a tough fight to the Patriots but unfortunately ended up on the losing side. The Falcons will be looking to make a quick comeback by winning this game and registering the first points for the tournament. 

On the other hand, Guyana Amazon Warriors will be setting out on a title defence run with this game. The Imran Tahir-led side will be keen on getting a positive start to their campaign and carry the momentum to take home two back to back CPL titles.

In the first match of the CPL 2024, we saw a track at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium that did have something on it for the batters, when the ball was hard and new. The batters enjoyed playing their shots when the new ball was coming on nicely to the bat. 

But as the game progressed and the ball wore down, stroking making became difficult for the batters. Even though there was no severe turn on the pitch, but the slower bowlers were difficult to get away due to the lack of pace. 

We can expect more of the same from the track in this game.
