However, SRH released a few bold names from the roster.Here is the list of three dropped players from Hyderabad who, with their new teams in IPL 2025 season, have all the capabilities to achieve the stardom.

Rahul Tripathi is a dynamic batter who left SRH and joined Chennai Super Kings for INR 3.40 crores. He is an established match-winner and has scored 2236 IPL runs at a strike rate of 139.30. He has been in top and middle order throughout his IPL career. 

This fearless approach of his coupled with the knack of delivering when it matters the most will make him an ideal player for Chennai's batting setup. Pairing up with stars like Ruturaj Gaikwad, Tripathi might become a vital cog in their title aspirations and might be one of the MVP contenders.

2. Aiden Markram

Aiden Markram, the South African all-rounder and former SRH captain, was another high-profile exit. Released after a mixed stint, Markram was signed by Lucknow Super Giants for a base price of INR 2 crore. Markram is known for classy stroke play and handy off-spin. He has adaptability to play any given role. 

Markram made 995 runs at a strike rate of 30.15 in IPL until now. He can thrive under pressure, which can be a valuable asset to Lucknow. Markram's all-round brilliance could propel him into MVP contention this season.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar, SRH's stalwart and one of IPL's most reliable pacers, found himself released ahead of the auction. In an intense bidding war, RCB secured the services of the experienced swing bowler. Bhuvneshwar Kumar's IPL credentials are unblemished. This 33-year-old has played 160 matches, and taking over 154 wickets, the player boasts of an economy of 7.24 while also having been a two-time Purple Cap winner.

RCB has often been criticised for their bowling frailties, especially at death. Having such a tested match-winner in the squad, this franchise finally got someone to help youngers provide stability by leading the line. Overall, if the stars fall into place, Bhuvneshwar Kumar can even be the MVP of RCB in the next IPL season of 2025.
