The Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2025 is just around the corner and six teams will fight it out for the coveted trophy. In the history of the PSL there have been some outstanding leaders who have led their team from the front and have delivered the goods in difficult situations.

There have been two brilliant captains in the league - Babar Azam the captain of Peshawar Zalmi and Shaheen Afrid, the leader of Lahore Qalandars. They are two of the biggest names in Pakistan cricket and ahead of the season we look at who has been a better captain of the two.

As the numbers suggests, Shaheen Afridi has been a superior leader as compared to Babar Azam. Both have led in almost similar matches, but Shaheen already has two titles under his name (2022, 2023) and has a way better win percentage with 52.94. While on an indvidual level, Babar has done exceptionally well, his performance has not been reflected on his captaincy.
