In his very first over against Mumbai Indians on Saturday, Punjab's Arshdeep Singh broke Ishan Kishan's wicket to complete 50 wickets in the Indian Premier League. Playing in just his fifth IPL season, Arshdeep has already reached a massive milepost at the age of 24 years.

Talking about the fixture between Mumbai and Punjab, the home team was well ahead in the game until Sam Curran, Harpreet Singh Bhatia and Jitesh Sharma started going hard after the MI bowlers, thwacking Arjun Tendulkar and Cam Green especially.

After tottering at 83-4 at 10 overs, PBKS ended their innings at 214-8, stealing 96 runs in the last five overs itself. Moreover, it is also Punjab's second-highest total against Mumbai and sixth overall.

At the time of writing, MI have got to 54-1 after 6 overs, with Rohit Sharma and Green at the crease, needing 161 runs in 84 balls.
