Arshdeep Singh Dropped? Here's India's Playing XI For 3rd T20I vs Australia

After securing two thumping wins, India will lock horns with Australia in the third T20I of the ongoing five-match series on Tuesday. Having won the first two games, India are just one victory away from sealing the series. Meanwhile, Australia will be desperate to emerge victorious in this match and stay alive in the series. 

Led by Suryakumar Yadav, India have been ruthless with the bat in the series so far. After chasing a daunting 209-run target in Visakhapatnam, the Men in Blue showcased their incredible hitting prowess by hammering 235 runs off 20 overs in the second T20I in Thiruvananthapuram. 

While Ravi Bishnoi and Axar Patel have earned massive applause for their stupendous bowling on absolute belters, the Indian seamers have leaked runs at a miserable economy, increasing the headache of the team management. 

Mukesh Kumar has been accurate with his yorkers, while Prasidh Krishna scalped three wickets despite conceding 41 runs in the second T20I. However, the experienced Arshdeep Singh had another disastrous outing, continuing his poor run in the series. 

The left-arm pacer has conceded 87 runs, picking only a single wicket at a miserable economy of 10.88 in two matches. So, moving on to this game, fans and experts expect the Indian management to drop Arshdeep, replacing him with Avesh Khan in the playing XI. 

If India takes such a bold call, Mukesh Kumar and Prasidh Krishna will open the bowling, with Avesh playing the third seamer's role. 

However, considering Arshdeep's ability to swing the new ball up front and the fact that India have won both matches, they will likely continue with the same team, giving the seamer another opportunity to showcase his skills. 

The rest of the Indian lineup is expected to remain unchanged unless an unforeseen injury forces them to tinker with the winning combination.
