The IPL 2026 auction list is all set to be announced; however, ESPNCricinfo has revealed the names of all 45 players who have registered at a base price of INR 2 crores. While the likes of Venkatesh Iyer and Cameron Green are expected to grab the attention of most franchises, here are five players who could be on the radar of Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) from the marquee list.
Ravi Bishnoi

| Criterion | Data |
| Innings | 14 |
| Wickets | 8 |
| Strike Rate | 37 |
| Economy | 8.84 |
(Suyash Sharma's record in IPL 2025)
- As evidenced by the above stats, Suyash Sharma blew hot and cold in the IPL 2025, managing just eight wickets across fourteen matches. He struck at an abysmal rate of 37 while conceding runs at an ordinary economy of 8.84.
- While Krunal Pandya was instrumental in RCB's first IPL win, they might need an upgrade over Suyash to fine-tune their spin bowling department. So, although they have retained the Delhi spinner, the defending champions might try to rope in Ravi Bishnoi, who has bagged 72 wickets in the tournament.
Mustafizur Rahman
Why RCB could target Mustafizur Rahman?
| Criterion | Data |
| Runs conceded | 552 |
| Wickets | 23 |
| Average | 24 |
| Strike Rate | 12.9 |
| Economy | 11.19 |
| Dot % | 31.4 |
(RCB bowlers in slog overs in IPL 2025)
- Although RCB won the IPL 2025, their death bowling received a lot of criticism from fans and experts. While Josh Hazlewood was clinical with the ball, the RCB bowling unit went for 11.19 runs on average, recording a modest dot percentage of just 31.4 last season.
- So, if RCB decide to revamp their death-bowling, Mustafizur Rahman can be an excellent addition to their side. The left-arm pacer, who can deceive batters with his hit-the-deck bowling and variations, has bagged 16 wickets at a magnificent economy of 7.31 in the T20 format this year.
Michael Bracewell
Why RCB could target Michael Bracewell?
- Virat Kohli, Phil Salt and Devdutt Padikkal form RCB's formidable top-order, with Jitesh Sharma spearheading the middle-order with skipper Rajat Patidar, Tim David and Romario Shepherd. However, after releasing Liam Livingstone, RCB have a vacancy for the batting allrounder's role, which they might fill by signing Michael Bracewell.
- Apart from scoring 536 runs at a superb strike rate of 146.4, Bracewell has scalped 23 wickets in the T20 format this year. Being an off-spinner, he will complement Krunal Pandya and Suyash Sharma in the spin department while also offering a quality left-handed batting option in the middle order.
Wanindu Hasaranga
Why RCB could target Wanindu Hasaranga?
- As explained earlier, Suyash Sharma struggled to get wickets, recording only eight scalps in 14 IPL 2025 matches. In such a scenario, Sri Lankan spin sensation Wanindu Hasaranga can be an option worth considering for the defending champions in the IPL auction.
- Apart from his late-order batting, Hasaranga's ability to strike with his wily wrist-spin makes him a valuable asset for any T20 side. The Sri Lankan spinner has bagged 40 wickets in T20s this year and can certainly boost the RCB lineup for the 2026 season.
Alzarri Joseph
- RCB have released several fast bowlers, including Lungi Ngidi and Blessing Muzarabani. So, if they seek a quality overseas seam option, Alzarri Joseph can be a genuine answer to their quest.
- The West Indies pacer is renowned for his express pace and his ability to hit the deck hard. So, he can add a different dimension to the RCB bowling unit, which doesn't have an express pacer. If they manage to get Joseph in, he can be a proper replacement for Ngidi as a reserve seamer.
