England will lock horns against India in the 3rd and final ODI of the ongoing series on February 12, at the Narendra Modi Stadium. It has been a disappointing tour for the Three Lions as they are on the brink of a white-wash and have suffered defeats in the first two-matches.
The England management need to quickly look at the things that are going wrong as they have very little time to fix these things because of Champions Trophy starting on February 19. Meanwhile, this article will shed light on three out-of-form players for England.

England opener Phil Salt is struggling to make runs and convert positive starts into big scores. Salt, who made a name for his starts and explosive batting in IPL and T20Is, is yet to replicate the same in the ODI series.
Notably, he has amassed just 69 runs in two matches in this series and is yet to get going. Further, he scored 151 runs in 3 innings against West Indies and had an embarrassing tour against Australia, scoring just 98 runs in five matches.
Brook, who was in the news for dominating Australia in a five-match ODI series in September, is struggling for runs as he has scored just 31 runs in 2 matches, averaging just 15 against India in the ongoing ODI series.
Further, he also failed in the T20I series and scored just 91 runs in five matches, averaging 18 against India. He scored a solitary fifty in the fourth T20I.

England's speedster Mark Wood is also struggling to make a mark. It is worth noting that he has played a solitary ODI in the ongoing series and is wicketless. Further, in the T20I series, Wood took just four wickets in four innings.
His last good performance came in July 2024 against West Indies when took nine wickets. However, since then, he is yet to outperform fellow teammates.
