India's veteran spinner Yuzvendra Chahal continued his impressive run in the ongoing Indian Premier League season, emerging as Rajasthan Royals' wrecker-in-chief with the ball in their group-stage clash against Gujarat Titans.

Before dismissing GT skipper Shubman Gill in a crucial juncture of the game, Chahal got rid of Vijay Shankar, who was looking set in the middle.

The incident took place during the 14th over of the Titans' innings when they were in a spot of bother, courtesy of Kuldeep Sen's pace bowling masterclass

As Gill and Shankar were trying to form a consolidating stand for the fourth wicket, RR captain Sanju Samson brought Chahal back into the attack.

His move proved to be a masterstroke, as the wily tweaker castled Shankar with an absolute ripper. Despite conceding a boundary off his third delivery, Chahal kept the Titans' batting duo under the pump through his variations.

After keeping it tight in the first five balls, the leg-spinner bowled a well-disguised googly, that turned into Shankar, beating him on his slog-sweep and shattering the timber.

If this wasn't enough, Chahal returned to dismiss Gill in his next over, swinging the game significantly into the Royals' favour.

As of writing, the visitors were in a spot of bother, placed at 155 for five in 17 overs, needing 42 more runs to win in the remaining 18 deliveries.
