Jasprit Bumrah, the Indian pacer, has been the talk of the town since his much-awaited comeback in the India tour of Ireland. Leading the team blue for the three-match T20 series against Ireland is remarkable for him.

Bumrah, who has shown tremendous skill sets in all forms of the game, is regarded as one of the best fast bowlers India has ever seen. His unforeseen back injury was one of the prime reasons the Men in Blue saw disastrous results in the last two ICC events; however, the paceman has regained his full fitness to strengthen the Indian lineup before the Asia Cup 2023 and the ICC World Cup 2023.

In light of this, former Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh recently expressed his thoughts and compared Bumrah's prowess to Virat Kohli's on his YouTube channel.

Here's what he said

"Jasprit Bumrah has made a comeback. He was injured for a long time, and his return was awaited. He has come back and has been made captain straightaway. Congratulations to Jassi for becoming captain and, foremost, for getting fit. I hope and keep my fingers crossed that Jassi doesn't get injured again."

"He has been missed a lot, whether you see the WTC final or the cricket that was played before that. I used to say it earlier and am saying it today as well. If we talk about batting, we talk about Virat Kohli, and if there is a Virat Kohli of bowling, iit is Jasprit Bumrah. There is no bigger name than him," he remarked with admiration.

Speaking of Harbhajan Singh himself, he gracefully transitioned into the role of a commentator after retiring from international cricket. His valuable insights continue to enhance the game.

The T20 series against Ireland is scheduled for August 18, 20, and 23 at The Village, Malahide, with Jasprit Bumrah leading the Indian team.
