Virat Kohli and James Anderson's rivalry was one of the most exciting one in Test cricket in the last decade, and it was quite an intense one as well with both players exchanging blows on and off the field.

Now, Anderson has retired from the game, and contrary to what general public perception is, there is a lot of mutual respect between Kohli and him.

It has been proved again now with James Anderson calling Kohli as probably the greatest finisher and white-ball batter ever to play the game. Anderson praised Virat Kohli's credentials while chasing and applauded the immense self-belief of the Indian legend.

The host of the podcast and Anderson also discussed about the longevity of Virat Kohli and compared his finishing skills with Australian great Michael Bevan.

" I don't know if there's been a better batter in the history of the game batting second and chasing down scores than him....Virat Kohli is probably the greatest finisher and white-ball batter ever"

Virat Kohli On His Way To 100 International Centuries

Virat Kohli has now 80 hundreds in international cricket and is still playing ODIs and Test cricket for India. He is in with a great chance to cross Sachin Tendulkar's record of 100 centuries in Test cricket, and is also on the verge of breaking Sachin Tendulkar's tally of 50 ODI centuries.
