After being one down in the five-match Test series, India have managed to level the series by winning the second Test in Visakhapatnam on Day 4. Ben Stokes in the post-match presentation applauded the way Indian team played right through from day one in this Test.

There were speculations about Bazball applications on the Indian soil, but the England team with their intent of aggressive strokeplay in both of the Test matches, have cleared the air and made a statement on how they will be playing here.

After Yashasvi Jaiswal's double hundred in the first innings, Jasprit Bumrah with nine wickets in the game and Shubman Gill's century have helped India seal a dominating win by 106 runs over the visitors.

Ben Stokes lauds India

"Coming into the last innings, we had full belief in ourselves to chase it down. We tried to take down the bowlers. But the number of runs to chase just added more to the excitement. The process and the best of ourselves come out when chasing a big total. But they played a fantastic game and it was great to be a part of this game."

Captain Stokes had a belief that they would chase the score down with the way Crawley and others looking for runs and the way they have chased down totals in the last couple of years. On being asked what challenges he faced leading the young guys, Stokes said they have shown maturity and have been good enough with their own analysis of the game.

"It's not a challenge. I absolutely love it. Only five to six Test matches between Bash, Tom and Rehan. Without Root and Anderson, they have shown great maturity and I'm proud as a captain. Jimmy is incredible. You look at the way he and Bumrah bowled this week, it's great and Anderson is that guy for us. Two quality bowlers are bowling and you just have to take your hats off."

Stokes could not stop himself from appreciating the display of bowling from Jimmy Anderson and Jasprit Bumrah and also said that what Bumrah is for India, Aderson is that for us.

With the series levelled 1-1, the next Test match takes place in Rajkot from February 15.
