India Champions emerged victorious over the Pakistan Champions by 5 wickets in the World Champions of Legends 2024 (WCL) finale in Birmingham, England on 13 July.

Post-match, former Indian cricket stars Harbhajan Singh, Yuvraj Singh, and others released a video dancing to the trending song "Tauba Tauba," performed by actor Vicky Kaushal in newly-released Bollywood movie Bad Newz.

The ex-cricketers humorously depicted their post-match soreness in the video, which was captioned:

"Body ki Tauba Tauba ho Gayi in 15 days legends cricket.. Every part of the body is sore. Straight competition to our brothers @vickykaushal09 @karanaujla our version of Tauba Tauba dance. What a SONG," Harbhajan wrote in a collaborative post with Yuvraj Singh and Suresh Raina.

The video showed the ex-cricketers limping to the song's beats, humorously highlighting the physical toll of the intense fortnight-long tournament.

However, the video sparked controversy when the India Paralympic community demanded an apology, criticizing the cricketers for insensitivity towards people with physical disabilities.

In response, Harbhajan Singh issued an apology on his official X (Twitter) account, stating, "We didn't want to hurt anyone's sentiments. Sorry to everyone who felt offended."

In the end the former Indian cricketer expected the matter to cool down, since he made it clear to the fans that whatever they did in the viral video was not deliberately done to hurt.
