It was a moment of sheer surprise and joy for Shubman Gill and his family. After the series victory, the 24-year-old cricketer was caught on camera unexpectedly embracing his sister, Shahneel Gill,  along with his mother, Keart Gill, and his father, Lakhwinder Singh. The video, shared by a fan, quickly went viral.

When asked who inspires him, he credited Rohit Sharma and said he took tips from Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni. 

"You can take qualities from Rohit bhai or even Mahi bhai, Virat bhai, Hardik bhai, all of them," he said. "All of them have great qualities. I have played the most under Rohit bhai, so he is someone who I look up to and really enjoy playing under," Shubman Gill said. 

Shubman Gill might have not had a lucky year however, he has shown signs of resurgence in the current series having scored 170 runs from 5 games.
