The much-awaited Kutti Stories episode of Sanju Samson is finally out. The trailer showed Ravichandran Ashwin asking Sanju Samson about the trade rumours, and it increased the anticipation around the interview.
Now, Sanju Samson has given his answer to the question, and it is a kind of answer that would increase the confusion around the whole saga even more. Ashwin indirectly asked Sanju Samson whether he would shift to CSK for the next season, while also jokingly adding that he will stay back in Kerala.
Sanju Samson Keeps Fans Guessing With Calculated Answer
In reply, Sanju Samson first laughed and then continued the joke by telling Ravi Ashwin that there is no point in staying back in Kerala as the state has no IPL team. Ashwin then tells Samson that he has cleverly decided to wear a black t-shirt, and Samson replies by saying that it is a safer option. His answer indicated that Sanju Samson is not ready to give any signals about the side he is currently aligned to through the colour of his t-shirt.
The current RR captain then cleverly adds that let's see what is in the store and made hand gestures that the god will decide the future. Ashwin, the host of the show, did not stretch it further and replicated what Samson said.
Ravi Ashwin: "I have a lot of questions to ask. But before that, I thought I'd come directly and trade myself. I am happy to stay back in Kerala. There are a lot of rumours going on. Neither do I know of anything. So, I thought I'd reach out to you and ask you. If I can stay back in Kerala and you can travel back to Chennai".
Sanju Samson: There is no IPL team in Kerala, so there is no use staying back in the state".
Ravi Ashwin: You have smartly won a black shirt too.
Sanju Samson: Safe travails, I guess. But yeah, let's see what is in store, na.
Ravi Ashwin : "Let's leave it to higher powers". (Conversation From Kutti Stories - EP5)
Thus, Sanju Samson decided to keep his cards close to his chest, and his words and gestures are likely to trigger more rumours now. However, Sanju Samson also did not outrightly deny the rumours of trade, which indicates that there are chances that he might leave Rajasthan Royals after more than a decade-long association.
Samson also praised Rajasthan Royals during the interview and spoke highly of Rahul Dravid. It shows that the wicketkeeper batter still has a lot of respect for his coach and mentor, and overall, there is still no clarity over Sanju Samson's IPL future.
