Pakistan fast bowler Ihsanullah has bragged about his limited international experience after getting benched by the Noakhali Express franchise in the ongoing BPL 2025-26 season in Bangladesh. After getting a game for the Express earlier in the tournament, Ihsanullah has since been excluded from his team’s playing XI for the next three successive matches.
In an interview amidst the ongoing BPL, the speedster called himself a “big international bowler” and labelled himself the “talk of the town”, despite going wicketless in his lone expensive spell of the season so far.
Ihsanullah brags about speed, says he can touch 150
While speaking in an interview amidst the ongoing BPL 2025-26 season in Bangladesh, Ihsanullah called himself a “big international bowler” who has already seen all the “ups and downs” of competitive cricket, at the age of 23.
He said: “You know you are such a big bowler who has played international cricket, and then when you go unsold you go into depression. I am such a huge bowler who has seen the ups and downs of competitive cricket.”
Ihsanullah also bragged about his bowling speed, and claimed that he has become the ‘talk of the town’ and people are already backing him to touch the 150-mark. He added, “People say ‘Ihsanullah, Ihsanullah’. Now I did one spell, and people are talking about it all over the world that he is touching 145, bowling above 140s and can soon touch the 150-speed mark.”
A fall from the grace for Ihsanullah
Ihsanullah, with an experience of just one ODI and four T20Is for Pakistan, was acquired by the Noakhali Express franchise for BPL 2025-26.
In his debut BPL game a couple of weeks ago, the speedster leaked 40 runs in his three wicketless overs as the Noakhali Express lost to Chattogram Royals by 65 runs.
