The third Test between India and England at Rajkot has turned out to be a rude wake-up call for Ben Stokes' England as Rohit Sharma and his boys have absolutely demolished them. India registered a massive 434-run and won the game in four days which at one time looked almost certain to go into the fifth day.

Ben Stokes too could not make much of an impact and was naturally not happy with his performance as well as how England went about their business. However, he was still confident of their approach and added that it was lack of execution that proved costly.

He also praised Ben Duckett for his brilliant knock and felt that it set the tone for them. Stokes stated that the pitch was good to bat on and with aggressive batting, they were looking to push the score as much as they could.

"Look I think, Ben Duckett played an unbelievable innings, we thought to set that tone that tone throughout the match. It was about identifying the opportunities and to score runs and push up the score as much as possible. With how the wicket was behaving we wanted to push the score as much as we could. Sometimes game plans don't work around."

Stokes also talked about their positive approach and fine line between being positive and reckless and added that what people think outside the dressing room does not matter. The English captain also mentioned that things don't go their way always and they would try to leave the third Test loss behind and win the remaining two games of the series.

"Everyone has a perception and opinion about us, the only thing that matters is what the people in the dressing room think about us. Things don't always go our way. We will look to leave this game behind and look to win the final two games of the series."

The fourth Test is scheduled to start on 23rd of February at Ranchi and it promises to be another exciting Test match.
