Nothing connects people in the Indian subcontinent more than cricket, movies, and food. With the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 happening in India, the array of food on offer for players is quite varied and exquisite.

Pakistan pacer Hasan Ali, who is visiting India for the first time due to the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023, will miss out on delicacies from Delhi, which his wife Samiya Arzoo keeps raving about.

Team Pakistan will play their matches in Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore, Kolkata and Ahmedabad, leaving out all the north Indian venues.

Hasan married a Delhite Arzoo in August 2019, becoming the second high-profile Indo-Pak couple to tie the knot after Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik. Speaking to Crizbuzz, the seam bowler revealed how his wife 'keeps talking' about Delhi and its street food all the time.

Hasan Ali on his wife's love for India

“I have been married for five years, and my wife talks about Delhi and its street food. I really wanted to travel to Delhi and try the food, but unfortunately, it won’t be possible."

The 29-year-old player made a last-minute entry into Pakistan's World Cup squad as an injury to pacer Naseem Shah made the fast bowler unavailable.

Ali featured in Pakistan's first warm-up against New Zealand, and will most likely field against Australia as well tomorrow in their last practice match. The Babar Azam-led side will play the Netherlands on October 6 in their tournament opener.
