Former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag has lashed out at Pakistan for violating the crease agreement between the two countries. India, currently in a cross-border conflict with Pakistan in light of the Pahalgam terrorist attack on tourists last month, launched “Operation Sindoor” by targeting several terror hubs on their soil.
Pakistan responded back by firing missiles and drones on civilian areas of India, only for Indian Armed Forces to intercept all possible attacks.

The Indian and Pakistan governments agreed to a ceasefire on Saturday, May 10. However, mere hours after the agreement, Pakistan military launched missiles and rockets above Jammu in India. Former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag, a long-time provocateur in India-Pakistan exchanges, let out a scathing remark on social media, slamming Pakistan for breaking the ceasefire deal.
Taking to X, he wrote: “Kutte ki dum tedi ki tedi hi rehti hai”, meaning “A dog's tail always stays crooked”.
On the cricketing front, the prevailing geo-political tensions between India and Pakistan has also severely impacted the ongoing IPL 2025 and PSL 2025 seasons. Both, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) have already postponed IPL and PSL seasons respectively for a latter unspecified date.
While IPL 2025 was confirmed by the BCCI to resume in a week, the latest ceasefire violation from Pakistan might put the remainder of the tournament in further jeopardy. The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has reportedly already offered a helping hand to the BCCI for hosting the remaining IPL 2025 matches in England.
