India's young prodigy, Yashasvi Jaiswal, was snubbed from the Asia Cup 2025 team despite his brilliant performance in the previous series. Jaiswal has played 23 T20I matches, amassing 723 runs, including five half-centuries and one century.

The selectors did not officially state Jaiswal's omission from the Asia Cup. However, Yashasvi Jaiswal has finally opened up on the snub after weeks. The young player is focused and keeps a positive attitude toward the sport and his future selections.

Yashasvi Jaiswal Breaks Silence on Asia Cup 2025 Snub

The 23-year-old Yashasvi Jaiswal is an incredible T20I batter who is fierce yet responsible. The left-handed player knows when to go after a bowler even in crunch situations, making him an asset to the team. Despite the Asia Cup snub, Jaiswal's understanding of the decision is incredible.

During a conversation with Mashable India, Jaiswal spoke about how everything is in the selectors' hands and all he can do is work hard. At such a young age, the maturity to understand something as complicated as team selection is outstanding. Jaiswal is a core Test team member but has yet to cement his place in the white-ball team. With Shubman Gill in the squad as the vice-captain, it will be difficult for Jaiswal to return to the T20I team.

"I don't think about. It's all in the hands of selectors. The decisions are taken according to the team combination. I will do whatever I can. When my time comes, things will fall into place. I just want to keep working on myself and keep working hard," said Yashasvi during a conversation with Mashable India.

India To Play Against Pakistan In Super Four

The Asia Cup 2025 is going great for the Indian team, which has successfully qualified for the Super Four with three back-to-back wins. Along with them, arch-rivals Pakistan have also qualified for the Super Four, and both will face each other again on September 21 in Dubai.

After the no-handshake row, the rivalry between the neighbours has become intense, and the fans can expect a power-packed performance in the upcoming game. In their last encounter, India won the match by seven wickets.
