England opener Zak Crawley has made a bold prediction ahead of the second Ashes Test match, set to be played at the Lord's from 28 June.

Crawley, while speaking to Times Radio has predicted that England would beat Australia by 150 runs in the second Test match.

Earlier, the Pat Cummins-led side thumped England by two-wickets in a thrilling encounter in the series opener at Edgbaston to go 1-0 up in the five-match series.

Here’s what Zak Crawley said

“I think we’ll win. I think the pitch will suit us a bit more so I think we’ll win by, I don’t know, 150 runs?”

The England opener further added that the main aim of the team is to entertain the fans as they don’t think much about winning or losing.

“We’re not about results. We’re not about winning or losing, we’re about entertainment. That’s why we took [this loss] better than other losses perhaps, because it was great for the game.”

“Of course, we’re there to win and it helps our brand and what we’re trying to do. If we win, we get more traction. But I don’t think we’ve lost anything this week other than a game of cricket.”

The controversial send-off from Ollie Robinson towards Usman Khawaja became a talk of the town over the past week. Notably, former players like Matthew Hayden and Ricky Ponting have lashed out at the England pacer for his disrespectful behaviour.

Meanwhile, Zak Crawley predicted that there might be more such incidents in the remaining matches, while emphasising that there is no personal animosity between the players, but rather a reflection of the high level of competition on the field.
