As Team India celebrates a month since their T20 World Cup 2024 victory, a few memories will stay etched in our hearts forever.

One of them is Suryakumar Yadav's iconic catch at Long-off, a catch that not only guaranteed India a chance at winning the trophy but also broke the 11-year drought, bringing a wave of relief and joy to the fans.

Reflecting on his feelings and sharing his emotions, newly appointed T20I skipper Suryakumar Yadav revealed his thoughts during the catch and how he was able to make a fine catch like that at such a crucial juncture in the game. He also shared his immediate reaction after the catch, a mix of relief and joy, providing a complete picture of the moment.

"This will stay with me forever because I've done those things in my practise sessions a lot. But I didn't think that it will come at that moment, World Cup final and that situation. I'm very grateful for that to be doing something special on a special occasion. But yeah, as you said that will remain with me forever. It won't be a one-month challenge or a one-year challenge. I think it will be for a lifetime," Suryakumar said in the video shared by BCCI.
