Last night delivered pure cricketing drama as fans around the world witnessed a nail-biting clash between the Gujarat Titans and Delhi Capitals. In a thrilling run chase, Sai Sudharsan’s outstanding century turned the heads.

After the breathtaking knock of Sudharsan, the former Indian batter Ajay Jadeja hailed the batter. In a bold statement, he praised Sudharsan, calling him a better batter than skipper Shubman Gill.

Jadeja Praises Sudharsan

The IPL has always been a talent hunt for new faces, and Sai Sudharsan’s rapid rise has been a big example of that.

In the last clash against the Delhi Capitals, Sudharsan smashed a thrilling century in 56 balls and remained unbeaten, scoring 108 runs in 61 balls. Teaming up with skipper Shubman Gill, the duo stitched a massive 205-run stand, single-handedly steering Gujarat Titans to a memorable win.

In the ongoing tournament, Sudharsan is shining with unreal consistency. With an unreal cricket brain, he executed his powerful shots when needed. After last night's masterclass, former Indian star Ajay Jadeja was all praise, boldly claiming that the GT opener has now outshone even captain Shubman Gill.

“Sai Sudharsan has outshone the future India captain. His batting is pleasing to the eye. It is not like he was only ahead of Shubman in the match against Delhi Capitals. He has looked a better batter than Gill in the previous matches as well. His batting is risk-free as compared to Shubman’s,” he said in Star Sports.
"Sai is playing with a more accomplished cricketer, who plays regularly for the Indian cricket team. Gill was not able to time the ball against Delhi and needed powerful hits to get going, but it was not the case with Sai, who looked at ease,” he added.

Sudharsan’s Ton Fades Rahul’s Glory

As the IPL returned after a week, fans enjoyed a nail-biting clash between the Delhi Capitals and the Gujarat Titans. KL Rahul smashed his fifth IPL hundred and played an unbeaten knock of 112 runs in just 65 deliveries. That outstanding knock helped the Delhi Capitals to put on a score of 199 runs on the board.

But Gujarat’s mad run chase stole the show in the second innings. Opening with skipper Shubman Gill, Sai Sudharsan was simply unstoppable, tearing through the DC bowling attack with ease. His second IPL century gave GT the perfect launchpad, while Gill anchored the chase with a flawless unbeaten 93.
