'Hame Bhi Maaf...': Naseem Shah Sought Forgiveness From Disappointed Fan After T20 WC Final 2022

The T20 World Cup 2022 final saw Pakistan facing off against England in a thrilling final. Despite high hopes, Pakistan's batting performance fell short as they could only score a total of 137-8 runs after batting first.

 England, led by the outstanding performance of Ben Stokes, showcased their dominance as they successfully chased down the target to win their second title championship title. Pakistan had only won the title once in 2009.

After the T20 World Cup final, Pakistan fans were disappointed by the loss. Pakistani pace bowler Naseem Shah shared an incident he experienced in that time. 

"There's a guy who makes jalebis outside my house, and he started giving me advice about what I had done wrong in the final. I laughed and said to him, 'Uncle ji, I've been buying jalebis from you for two years, have I ever said to you that the shape of your jalebis is wrong or that you haven't made good ones? We're human and make mistakes, you make mistakes too. Toh hamein bhi maaf kar do na!" - Naseem Shah said.

Naseem Shah delivered an exceptional wicketless performance in the final against England, with his bowling proving too challenging for the English batters at MCG.

During his second over, he beat Jos Buttler on five balls. But despite of his impressive bowling display, Naseem couldn't secure any wickets and unfortunately, Pakistan ended up losing the final.

As another T20 World Cup approaches, Naseem Shah and the Pakistani team are determined to rectify the mistakes of the past and clinch another ICC title, bringing joy to their loyal fans.

Pakistan will face the hosts USA in their first game in T20 World Cup on June 6th at Grand Prairie stadium.
